eCalculator Screen Shots
Click an image to enlarge it, and to activate the toggle.
This is the Calculator.
The Calculator accepts
both text and numbers,
making it easy to know what you equated.
The entry window is editable, so it is easy to catch
errors, or alter equations.
The Calculator also
accepts entries vertically, like an adding machine.
Adding is the default. If you want to subtract,
multiply or divide,
then you need to enter an operator.
You can also enter
complex equations.
You don't need to press
"=" or add something to memory;
it happens automatically.
This image shows the memory from the result of
previous equations.
Both the formula and the
result are stored in memory.
You can swap the result with the formula easily,
too.
You can build equations
with advanced functions.
You can save your
calculations to a Notes page.
This shows the data
stored in Notes
Whenever you make one
calculation,
you are often making two.
Rather than writing things down,
or moving data to Notes to make a comparison,
do your work directly on the screen.
Use Duplicate Window.
You can make as many
Duplicate windows as you want.
This is true for all of the calculators in
eCalculator
Calculator also does
Hexadecimal, Octal and Binary
This is eClipboard
eClipboard holds the
same text data as the system clipboard.
Text only.
The Mac OS clipboard is shown here.
eClipboard retains your
work, in case you need it back.
You can also edit directly in the clipboard, and
re-copy something.
This is Notes.
Notes is a multi-page text editor.
These are the default
pages,
one page for each calculator.
Calendar does not need a Notes page.
To create a new page,
use the pop-up menu
You can export or import
your Notes files.
It will automatically synchronize
if you choose Append.
You can have lots of
Notes pages.
By storing your text files in one place, you can
search them all at once if you need to. Plus, they
are easy to back-up.
Notes can launch
websites and e-mails
if they are highlighted.
If you highlight the entire page,
it will present all the e-mails and url's at
once.
Notes and eClipboard
operate similarly,
but they are different.
Please read the text in
the screen shot.
Both Notes and
eClipboard have word processing commands.
Calculator, Notes and eClipboard combined are very
powerful, but there is lots more.
This is the Calendar
module.
By clicking and holding
on a date,
it will display how long that date is from today.
You can navigate to any
date easily.
Move to any date you
want.
Note the display always shows today's date,
and the difference between any selected date.
This is the
Converter
You can change the six
different conversion types to one type with a single
click.
This is the Interval
Calculator.
The Interval Calaculator
features a convenient navigator,
which also displays the difference from today.
The Time Inverval pop-up
menu can answer most time related questions.
This is the Loan
Calculator.
Terms of the loan are
easily entered and adjusted.
Comparing loans is a good time to use the Duplicate
Window feature.
The Loan Calculator
automatically displays the Interest expense of the
loan.
The Loan Calculator can
generate an editable amoritization table.
Record your payments and
check numbers.
If you make an extra payment,
then the table re-generates its figures.
The form can also be exported to a text file.
It's pretty amazing.
This is the Time
Calculator.
The Time Calculator
reads right to left;
if you enter "100" then it is 100 seconds.
if you enter "100." (period) then it is 100
minutes.
The Time Calculator work
similarly to Calculator,
except it is using time units.
World Timer includes a
World Clock.
The first time you open it,
it will ask you for your local time.
This is the World Timer
window.
You can check the time
anywhere in the world
You can also add your own titles, and adjust for
Daylight Savings Time.
The display can be a
clock,
a stopwatch,
or an alarm-timer.
This image shows all
three modes operating independently,
and the three possible window sizes of this module.
A Stopwatch counts up, a Timer counts down.
One pop-up controls all
your time functions.
You can recall all your start/stop times when working
on a project.
This message exists to
work around a bug in Panorama.
It only occurs if you leave the program and then
return to a window different from the one you
exited.
This buttons are very
powerful,
even though they look innocuous.
You can change the font
and font size
in some of the calculators.
You can change the skin
color of each module.
You can navigate to all
the modules.
You can navigate to just
the open windows, too.
Using a modifier key makes the menu contextual.
Oops! I have a lot of windows open and hidden.
Fortunately, there is an
easy way to close too many open windows.
